The Literate Frankenstein


Although Jason Rusch looks like a Halloween Frankenstein, he dresses as the creature to promote the Weber Reads "Frankenstein" program and encourage kids to read. Mary Shelley's original version of the monster does read books, including Paradise Lost, and compares himself to Adam.

Stonemasons






Stonemasons Cody and Kenzie Wright are restoring a lime kiln in Ogden Canyon. The kiln was built in 1865. Wood and limestone were layered in the kiln and burned to create lime powder for use in plaster, whitewash and mortar in construction in Ogden. The Wrights will soon finish the 25 foot high, 27 foot wide kiln.
