Innocence Hearing

She was convicted in the shooting death of her employer Lael Brown, no relation, in 1995, but is now the first Utah inmate to try the Factual Innocence Statute law that allows for non-DNA innocence claims.

Utah Highway Patrol crash

According to witnesses, a Utah Highway Patrol car crossing the intersection with its lights and siren on t-boned a Geo Tracker at the intersection of 12th Street and Wall Avenue Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2010. The man driving the Tracker and young girl, about 3 years old, were taken to the hospital in an ambulance.

9-year-old Daniel Sargent holds his 30-pound cat, Hercules, at his home in Roy. Hercules was once a tiny kitten with a large nose who eventually grew into it, becoming the huge feline he is today.

Officer Involved Shooting

A man driving a stolen truck was followed through several cities, starting in Ogden, before crashing the truck in a field in unincorporated Davis County. He was fatally wounded after pulling a gun on the pursuing police officers.
