Top photo: Ogden Master Officer Trina Gerry touches the casket of Ogden Police Officer Jared Francom at his funeral at Ogden City Cemetery Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012. Francom was shot and killed while serving a warrant with the Weber/Morgan Narcotics Strike Force. About 4000 people attended services at Dee Events Center and a procession of family and officers, lead by a motorcycle brigade and fire engine carrying the casket of Officer Francom, made its way through Ogden to the cemetery. Weber County Sheriff's Sgt. Nate Hutchinson, also shot and wounded, appeared in a wheelchair and was greeted by his friends and colleagues.
Ryder Wilcox, 9, of Boy Scout Troop 90 helped put up American flags along Harrison Boulevard in Ogden for the funeral.
