Six Ogden Officers Shot

Utah Governor Gary Herbert, with security, spoke at a second press conference at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, where several of the officers were still in critical condition.


Ogden's Assistant Police Chief Marcy Korgenski, right, hugs Dana Findlay at a press conference at the Ogden City Police Department regarding the six officers with the Weber/Morgan Narcotics Task Force who were shot Wednesday night while serving a warrant. Matthew David Stewart, 37, is suspected of fatally shooting Officer Jared Francom of the Ogden City Police Department and wounding five others: Shawn Grogan, Kasey Burrell and Michael Rounkles, all of the Ogden Police Department, Sgt. Nate Hutchinson, Weber County Sheriff’s Office, and Jason Vanderworfe, Roy Police Department.
